Ningbo Begapunk Pneumatic Components Co., Ltd. ("Begapunk", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or submit an inquiry.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Inquiry and contact information: Name, email address, company name, country, product interest, application details, technical requirements, inquiry type, and source-page information that you submit through the quote request form.
• Campaign attribution after consent: Google click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, and wbraid), UTM campaign parameters, the first landing page, and the initial referrer. These values are collected only after you allow optional measurement, kept in session storage for the current browser session, and included with an inquiry sent to our internal sales mailbox.
• Technical information: IP address and request metadata that may be processed by the web server for delivery, security, and logging. The inquiry handler derives a one-way hash from the request IP address and keeps recent attempt timestamps in server temporary storage for a 15-minute rate-limit window.
• Business and technical information: Technical requirements and optional drawing files in the formats accepted by the form (PDF, STEP/STP, IGES/IGS, DWG, DXF, JPG/JPEG, or PNG), up to 10 MB.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide quotes
• Process and fulfill orders
• Verify product fit using uploaded technical drawings
• Improve our website and product offerings
• Measure advertising effectiveness and attribute inquiries to campaigns after you allow optional measurement
• Send the inquiry to our configured sales mailbox through authenticated SMTP
• Prevent abuse and protect the availability of the inquiry service
• Comply with legal obligations

Inquiry and drawing use: We do not use your inquiries or drawings for marketing or public display.

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve our website. Below is a breakdown of the cookies we use, their purpose, and how you can control them.

3.1 Essential Local Storage (Always Active)

The consent manager uses browser local storage rather than an essential cookie to remember your optional-measurement choice. This record does not directly identify you and is not sent to our server with normal page requests.

• Consent state — Stored under begapunk_cookie_consent in localStorage, including the choice, banner version, and timestamp. The site treats the record as expired after 365 days.

3.2 Analytics and Advertising Measurement (Optional)

On a first visit, Google Analytics 4 is not loaded unless you choose “Allow measurement.” By default, Consent Mode v2 sets analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization to denied. If you allow measurement, the first three are granted for analytics and advertising-effectiveness measurement; ad_personalization remains denied. We do not use this choice to serve personalized advertising. If you decline before granting consent, GA4 is not loaded. If you withdraw consent after it has loaded, the site updates these consent settings to denied, stops subsequent optional measurement, and removes GA cookies and session attribution that it can access; the already executed script cannot be unloaded from the current page.

• Google Analytics 4 — After consent, GA4 records page and session activity, referral and campaign information, consent events, contact/download interactions, form attempts, and confirmed inquiry events. A confirmed inquiry event may include the inquiry type and requested product, but our code does not send your name, email address, company, country, free-text requirements, attachment, or raw click identifier as an event parameter. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Analytics retention follows the current GA4 property configuration. Google Privacy Policy
• Session attribution — After consent, the site stores the listed click IDs, UTM values, first landing page, and initial referrer under begapunk_session_attribution_v1 in sessionStorage. The values are used to populate hidden inquiry-form fields and are sent only if you submit that form. Revoking measurement consent removes the session record and clears those fields.

3.3 Manage Your Cookie Preferences

You can change your preference at any time using the controls below.

You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser. Clearing the consent record causes the preference banner to appear again.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only with:

• Hosting and email providers: The PHP form handler validates the request and uses PHPMailer to send it through authenticated SMTP to the configured Begapunk sales mailbox. The handler does not write inquiry fields or attachments to a website database.
• Measurement provider: Google Analytics receives the measurement data described above only after consent. Advertising personalization remains disabled.
• Shipping carriers: DHL, FedEx, or local carriers (only shipping address and contact info)
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above and for applicable legal obligations:

• Inquiry data: The current website handler does not create a database record. The email and any attachment remain in the sales mailbox according to operational, follow-up, warranty, and legal needs.
• Uploaded files: PHP processes an attachment from temporary upload storage for the SMTP message; the website code does not intentionally retain a separate server copy after the request.
• Rate-limit data: Recent attempt timestamps are evaluated within a 15-minute window in server temporary storage.
• Order data: Retained as required by applicable tax, accounting, warranty, and commercial laws.
• Analytics data: Retained according to the current Google Analytics property configuration.
• Session attribution: Retained in the browser for the current session. If you submit an inquiry, the sanitized attribution values remain with that email under the same operational and legal retention approach as other inquiry data.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the European Union or California, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to processing or request restriction
• Request data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time

7. Data Security

We use safeguards including TLS encryption, same-origin checks, rate limiting, a honeypot field, length and email validation, file-size/type/signature checks, authenticated SMTP, and restricted access to the receiving mailbox. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the effective date.
